Pumping Station
Olympic Park was a design and construction project under contract to the Sydney Olympic Park Authority.
The primary use of the pumping station was to gather raw sewerage effluent from the existing Flemington and Homebush Carrier Mains and pump to the onsite treatment plant for treatment and re-used throughout the Olympic Park precinct for irrigation purposes. This was the first Sewer Mining Pumping Station developed for use within the Sydney catchment area.
