Morpeth Upgrade
Sewer Pumping Stations Thornton No 1 and Berry Park No 1
Morpeth upgrade, Thornton WWPS no.1 and Berry Park WWPS no.1 are rectangular type tanks 7.1 by 7.5 by 9 metres deep to service future sub division developments of approximately 5,000 homes.
These stations were constructed under sub contract to Delcare Constructions Pty Ltd and the Hunter Water Corporation. The contract required co-ordination of supply of high voltage power systems, construction and commissioning of civil, mechanical and electrical components to specification requirements. The contract was undertaken in 2007 taking 60 weeks to completion.
